Jürgen Lock is a certified sports scientist and one of the two managing directors of SCC EVENTS GmbH. Since 2008, he has been vice president of Sport-Club Charlottenburg e.V. and a member of the board of the athletics department. SCC EVENTS is an organizer of sporting events and has been organizing major endurance sports events for over 50 years. The largest event, the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, is considered the fastest course in the world with 13 world records set and is part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors alongside Tokyo, Boston, London, Sydney Chicago, and New York.
