Arpad Pikethy is the Managing Director of IBM Hungary with three decades of experience in technology and digital innovation. Originally trained as a physicist, he later earned an MBA in the UK and built a career that combines strong analytical thinking with proven leadership skills. Having gained early entrepreneurial experience during the dotcom era and later extensive corporate expertise at IBM, he has held senior local and regional leadership roles since joining the company in 2003. He is also an active advocate of emerging technologies, working to strengthen Hungary’s competitiveness in artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
