Gerda-Marie is a pharmacist, PhD by education and has worked for many years in life-science, spending +15 years in the pharmaceutical industry where she initially worked with drug development and later with project & programme management and strategy. 

She has also worked with public-private collaborations and international branding of Danish life science and healthcare as chief advisor in Healthcare Denmark. 

She joined Wonderful Copenhagen in 2023 as Head of Copenhagen Legacy Lab. Her work has focused on long-term impact from congresses primarily within three strongholds of Copenhagen; life-science, green transition, and information & communications technology.
