Katrin Erben began her career at Österreich Werbung in 2016 and was responsible for marketing and 
PR in the Belgian market for six years. In May 2022, she moved to Vienna as a sustainability expert in 
the Innovation department. Since then, she has been the main point of contact both within the 
Austrian National Tourist Office and for the Austrian tourism industry for issues relating to 
sustainability, ESG and Corporate Social Responsibility. She is also responsible for the conception 
and implementation of industry-wide and cross-industry sustainability programmes.

Since 2023, she has also been the elected Chair of “Chapter Earth” of the European Travel 
Commission.
